2007 Midwest Regional Tournament Results
The Little Crow Water Ski Team from New London, MN, returned from the 2007 Midwest Regional Show Ski Tournament in Waterloo, IA with the championship trophy.  Little Crow scored 1,949 points to capture first place.   The 2nd place award went to the Waterhawks of Waterloo, Iowa with 1,748 points, and 3rd place to the Midwest Ski Otters of White Bear Lake, MN with 1,569 points.  A total of ten teams competed in the tournament.  Little Crow has won first placed 14 out of the 15 Midwest/MN Tournaments.

The Little Crow Ski Team performed the tournament show to the theme of  "Ski TV in HD" and started the performance with 6 barefoot pyramids.  A double top-4 pyramid act drew great spectator appeal as did the "Around the Boat" act with three skiers going in two different directions around the boat. Little Crow is the only team in the entire nation to perform this act.  Chad Thompson, stuntman and co-show director performed the Flame of Fire Gainer which is a first for a jump team presentation at Midwest Regionals.  Little Crow's Ballet Line tied with the Waterhawk's Pyramid Team for the Highest Scoring Act Award in the Tournament.  LCST's twenty-one member ballet line performed a sharp routine to the theme of the popular television show Deal or No Deal to include three ski passes through the show course and a dance routine on stage.

In addition to the Championship Team Trophy and the Highest Scoring Act Award, the Little Crow Ski Team earned several other top awards.  Little Crow won the Best Barefoot Act, Best Dock and Equipment, Best Tow Boat Driving, Best Pick Up Boats, and Best Sound and Announcing.  Little Crow also tied with the Waterhawks for Best Jump Act in the tournament.  The Waterhawks received the Best Pyramid Act.

Little Crow also had individual members competing in swivel, doubles and jump competition. In swivel competition, Anne Bruckner placed first and Joquel Molenaar earned second.  In doubles competition, Greg Hedman and Stacy Boesch placed first and Eric Rudningen and Josie Kent placed ninth.  In team jump, Little Crow captured first place. Jumpers for the individual team jump competition included: Logan Asche, Nick Dahlen, Jay Donner, Matt Gauer, Luke Hartog, Ryan Marcus, Jared Swenson and Chad Thompson.
